|
| At Sand Spring, we offer choirs from preschool to Senior
Adults. We have instrumental ensembles and handbell choirs. Two major
musical productions are presented annually as an outreach to the community. |

|
Sanctuary Choir
|
Our sanctuary choir is very dedicated to serving their Lord through
music. We have a lot of talented singers in our choir, which makes for a
good blend, and a great sound. We try to do several special programs
through the year, including Christmas and Easter. For the past three years
we have put a lot of effort towards our "God and County Day" around July
Fourth and our "Military Recognition Service" on Memorial Day Weekend.
Our choir averages around 28 members each Sunday, with as many as 40 for
special services. |

JoySong
|
JoySong is our young adult ensemble made up of 18 talented individuals.
This group sings at least once a month in our regular Sunday morning
services. We go to other churches in the community when asked, and present
a couple of concerts a year at Sand Spring. JoySong's strength is their
warm harmonies that are best heard in their A Cappella arrangements. Most
of the music JoySong performs has a contemporary flare, but they do a great
job presenting all styles. |

Handbell Choir
|
Our Handbell Choir is a very beautiful part of our music here at Sand
Spring. They play once a month in our 11:00 worship hour and every week
through the month of December. They are a three-octave choir and they add
so much life to our hymns when they play. |

|
Youth Choir
|
Our youth choir is a fairly new addition to our music ministry here at
Sand Spring. We are averaging around 15 members each week. Our primary
goal is to glorify God through music. We work on vocal styles and technique
as a choir in our rehearsals. We are currently seeking a youth musical to
perform for our church. This past year we sang on various Sunday nights,
and participated in our "Choir Fest" with the adult choirs of our church. |

Swingin' Saints
|
The "Swingin' Saints" is our senior adult choir made up of 25 of the
sweetest ladies I've ever met. On special occasions we have 5 or 6 men to
help us out. We have traveled all over the state to sing at churches and
various civic group functions.
Some of our ladies are over 80 years old, and are always ready to board
that bus to go sing for their Lord. We sing a lot of fun songs, and those
great old hymns that never seem to lose their popularity. |

|
Children & Preschool Choirs
|
Top-notch people who love serving their Lord through teaching music to
children lead our children's choirs. Our children are taught music, not
just taught songs to sing. When they are promoted to a higher level of
choir, they are more knowledgeable about music. Our children present one
production a year usually at Christmas, and sing some of our evening
services throughout the remainder of the year. |
