    Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program that meets on THURSDAY nights from 6pm to 8pm, here at Sand Spring Baptist Church. As we celebrate and encourage each other along our individual roads to recovery, we praise God for the healing in our lives, build healthy relationships, and work through 8 Recovery Principles which directly relate to 12-steps used by many other recovery programs.

    The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to offer a pathway to freedom from the hurts, habits, and hang-ups of everyday life. Spiritual growth, release from addictive or destructive behaviors, peace, and a strengthened relationship with God are all waypoints of the journey. We invite you to join us, and pray that you will experience the healing power of a loving Savior - Jesus Christ, the one and only Higher Power!

Celebrate Recovery IS a:

Safe place to share your experiences, strengths, and hopes with others who are also applying the 8 Principles to their own recovery.

Refuge from the hurts, habits, and hang-ups of everyday for life.

Place to care for, respect, and encourage others, and to receive care, respect, and encouragement.

Place where confidentiality is highly regarded and expected!

Ministry devoted to offering God's love and peace freely to all.

Possible turning point in your life.

Celebrate Recovery IS NOT:

A place for selfish control, secrets, or judgment.

Somewhere to look for dating relationships.

A place for perfection.

Encouragement, enablement, or defense of addictive or destructive behaviors.

A place for therapy - we are not here to fix each other.

A place for professional clinical advice.

A quick fix.
